So this week was another AWESOME week! On Monday was the start of ICYL and I have cool facils and cool group members. :) But our group name wasn't THAT cool. We were called Margaret. If only there was an Earhart or something. :)Monday was about Learning. So we pretty much learned about ourselves and others and we had Orientation. Then,on Monday too,we rushed back to school for p6 Camp. :) My group,Hebe,is GREAT! They're the best! Reminds me of when I was in p6. Plus Hebe has the coolest and most fun facils. :) Cause I'm in it. Hahaha! We had, Divya, Shafiqah, Lin Dang, Fiona and myself. SO tell me how it's NOT the best? :P Slept at 1 that night.
Tuesday was Embody. We had the Plenary session and then we had World Cafe Conversation. I loved that THE most! It was so awesome and the conversations we had on Women Leadership was great. :) Then we had the Study Visits. We went to SingTel and yeah,I didn't really get what message they were tryna pass to us. So yeah...
Rushed back to school again. My dad drove us to school. Tuesday was really tough cause we didn't really come up with what to do for their performance night. So I stayed up till like 3.30am doing their affirmations and just thinking of the wacky dance moves for You Should Be Dancing by Bee Gees. Wei Ning stayed up with me till like 3am so yeah. Thanks Ning!
Wednesday was pretty dry. It was on Advocacy. The talks were cool but the workshop,I didn't really get. I left after lunch and went back to school. After lunch cause we would talk a lot then. And I liked it. :)
Went back to school,taught Hebe their dance steps etc. They could get it like right then and there so the group leaders had nothing to worry about. At night was their performance night and it was THE best! I mean we the red people (all of us were wearing the RED shirt) were so damn high. Performance was great! Hebe was awesome although there were some technical glitch and Sha and I looked like IDIOTS in front of the control room where we prompted them for the dance.
OUR performance topped it all. Everyone was so high on stage. Nad and I were WHOOOO! While Ivan and Andrew were doing their own solo moves. Hahahah! It was CRAZY! Then we had the Super Trouper Mass Dance which was soooo cool!
We ended with The Hello Echo After Me cheer. But then there was a surprise cheer where Scott just shouted Early Morning Late At Night! And then all the leaders like automatic infront of the audience and we did our war cheer! :) It was so fun! :)
Took pictures etc etc. Mrs Tan bought for us Pizza for supper. I stayed up till like 12am at the void deck with Nad,Andrew,Khai and gang. We ate Macs after eating Pizza.
I stayed up till like around 2 cause I had to bring down my flags and stuff to pack. All in all,it was a good P6 Camp. :D
On Thursday,it was on Dare. The Concurrent Sessions we had was cool. :) I went for Ms Linda Tan's together with Reshmi and Shaina. We were one of the earliest to go for break so three of us,played "Who can nibble Pocky the fastest". Hahaha! After tea break,there was this "Dare to Make A Difference" presentation which most of us TALKED through the whole session. Then we had lunch where we'll have our daily lunch talks again. :)
After that,I had to go back to school for some shooting then I rushed back to RG for the International Friendship Night. IT WAS AWESOME! I loved it to the max!! :) Performances by other countries were GREAT! I really like Indonesia's. They were so cool! :) IFN was so cool! We won an award for Most Curly. Thanks facils! Hahaha! Most Curly...
Oh yeah,then I had to send my sister off to Perth.
Then yesterday,we had the closing ceremony. We sang the ICYL theme song with ICYL candles. So I stayed till like 12.20pm talking to Jo and Reshmi and Shaina. It was cool! :) Jo does a really cute Mat imitation. HAHAHA!
So I met Mus at Orchard MRT after ICYL. Went to Macs where I had my lunch and we just talked and talked and talked. Been like a month since I saw her. I think. Anyway,it was nice meeting up and since I'll be so free,we can meet up again. :)
So yeah. That was pretty much EVERYTHING! :)
