Alright. Fast post. I've got half an hour to blog about NZ.Firstly,I was late. Cos the car my dad rent couldn't start so I cabbed down with my mum and aunt. My cousins were ALL already there. Orang tak pergi dah sampai,orang yang nak pergi belum sampai. That means Those who are not going reach already,the one going haven't reach. So yes,plane ride was long. I sat beside Hui Wen. Ilma and Khai changed seat after that. I got a USD 75 cheque in the plane cos my TV couldn't work for a whole night. so yeahh.
Reached,went to Candyland(which wasn't that nice). Then we went to the camp at Matamata. Hahaha! EyeEye. Lame. Had dinner and had the initiative Olympics. Damn fun! Our group won! Which was very very unexpected. Teamwork babe! :D
Day 3
It was raining so we did Confidence Course first. We WERE supposed to Go-Kart first. But to think of it again. I guess you have to safe the BEST for the LAST! And really it was GREAT! So we had Confidence Course,Top Town Swim,Rock Climbing,Low Ropes then GO-KART! All activities were super fun! Confidence Course was definitely the Flying Fox that was fun. Top Town Swim was when we had to wheelbarrow each other and Alex being the strongest one,he wheelbarrowed us and ALL of us wheelbarrowed him. Rock Climbing was when we played the endurance game. Low Ropes.. Hmmm,being pushed around. Low Ropes was a trust and teamwork activity. After Low Ropes was fun too. The WHOLE group(7 of us) were jumping on the trampoline. Very very fun! GO-KART! This was THE best! I've ALWAYS wanted to drive for REAL! So yeah,I did. Man,could have won the driver of the day for Girls but who cares. I had FUN! 1 turn is 2 laps. So I drove 10 turns. That makes 20 laps. SWEET ASS!
We went eeling after dinner. Khai caught an eel btw. At first,I thought we were gonna eat it but Mr Ross set it free after. Had Hoopla after eeling. Hoopla was fun and tiring. OHHHH! After eeling,we stopped at the rock climbing place there and star gazed. OH MY GOD!! IT WAS FREAKING AWESOME AND B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!!!!! There were so many clusters!! Like you look one side,you think "Ah,that's all." But then you turn in to another direction,you see MORE! Bloody nice! If you have the right camera,you can take pictures of the stars.
Day 4
Day 4 wasn't as good as day 3 but Day 4 had more teamwork involved than day 3. Got lotsa pictures. First we had kayaking,then camp craft,abseiling,archery,initiative course. Kayaking was fun! Only highlight is... One of the boats got towed away by the current. Hahaha! All of us were watching Miss Olivia arrange the kayaks back. So when she turned around,she pointed at the far away kayak which was about to make it's turn to the narrow part(She said when the kayak goes there,it's difficult). SO,me and Dyana ran for the kayak. Got a lot of quicksand sia. I heard those who watched us saw Dyana get sucked in by it. HAHAHAHA! Omg. Must have been funny. Archery was funny. Cos we didn't really do archery for long. After a few tries,all of us were listening to Mr Quintin's and Miss Olivia's stories. Had a good laugh. Initiative course was GREAT! I love the team effort and stuff. Who knew Khai was SO heavy. All of us were struggling trying to carry him up but it's obvious that it's ALL muscles. And who knew,they all were SMILING while carrying me. HAHAHA! Cos it was cold,we went to the hot pool after. Mr Ben joined us too. :D
We had our Camp Concert afterwards. Our act was so impromptu that all the sentences that came out was What The Hell,we didn't even plan it to be that way. Then we rehearsed a while. THEN... Me,Shi Ying and Grace joined Miss Olivia,Mr Ben,Mr Quintin and Mr Ross watch Rugby. Seriously,I don't understand a SINGLE thing about that game. Don't mind learning the game though. We stayed up late! :D
Day 5
We went to Rotorua. It was so fun! Interesting. We went for the Sheep show. Then did the SWOOP,AGROJET. We were supposed to do ZORB but cos our bus got delayed so everything was pushed back. After that,we went to Whakarewarewa. I CAN SAY THE WHOLE NAME!! TEWHAKAREWAREWATANGAOTEOPETAUAAWAHIAO. Hahahahaha! SWEET ASS! Then we went for the luge and dinner. Dinner was AWESOME!!! IT WAS SOOO DELICIOUS!! Pictures says it all.
Day 6
We left camp,went to the Waitomo caves. It was pretty! Then we went back to Auckland for our home stay. All of us didn't wanna leave the camp. Camp! SWEET ASS! So met my host. Bla bla bla. Go back home.
Day 7
Walked to school. Had the formal welcome at Mt Roskill Intermediate School. It was nice. Then during break,some Maori boys were playing around with my phone and camera. They read my journal also. -.- Two of them were SOOOOO chubby!! Hahahahahaha! I joined Anagha for her performing arts class. It was cool. I like the room. After lunch,we had like PE. SS vs Room 26 for the game Castle and we WON! :D I slid twice and my jeans were full of mud. But it was fun. I didn't mind getting dirty cos I wasn't even SWEATING!! :D
Day 8
We went around Auckland. Mr Ben came with us. So fun. :D A LOT of pictures! After school,I went to St Lukes. I'll elaborate more on this cos I'm out of time.
